Junior/ Senior Surveyor

Performs all aspects of field inspection services including shore tanks, barges, and ships. Certifies that field assignments conform to company policies and procedures as well as job-specific instructions supplied by the Operations Department. As company field representative, acts in a professional and dignified manner to maintain the company’s respected and trusted reputation.

• Acts as a Company representative in the field. Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities as per company policies and procedures. Maintains regular contact with the Operations Department to receive work orders and schedules.
• Effectively communicates all aspects of assigned job duties. Maintains regular contact with the Operations Department, terminals, and vessels to avoid delays or conflicts.
• Obtains, labelling, and transports samples to the laboratory in a timely manner as required by each specific job assignment.
• Maintains assigned inspection equipment in good working order and ensures equipment is properly calibrated and stored.
• Measures (gauge and temperature) material, performs all required field calculations, completes all required field documentation, and submits reports to the Operations Department on time.
• Performs specialized inspection services such as loss control.

• Fluent in Dutch and English (both speaking, understanding, and writing).
• Willing to work in shifts and flexible hours.
• A valid driver's license.
• Relevant experience is a pre.
• Able to identify problems and search for appropriate solutions.
• Qualities: flexible, driven, reliable, service-oriented, stress-resistant, communicative, attention to detail, meticulous, independent, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
