As a Business Development Manager Liquid Bulk / New Energies you play a pivotal role in our growth in the energy transition-related domain. You do so by spotting solid business opportunities with a “hunter” mindset, fostering customer relationships, and closing deals together with new and existing partners. That is why we look for you to help us:

  • Realize new business opportunities.
  • Shape and implement the business development strategy for our new energy-related projects.
  • Build business cases and negotiate win-win terms with our customers and partners.
  • Execute project plans with various types of stakeholders (e.g., customers, financiers, partners).
  • Expand our network of international external stakeholders.
  • Increase our understanding of the developments in the market and customer needs.
New-energy related projects

Here"s a glimpse into our groundbreaking projects:

  • Hydrogen/Ammonia: we joined forces with Gasunie and Vopak to develop an import terminal for green ammonia as a hydrogen carrier in the port of Rotterdam (ACE).
  • Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS): we are developing carbon capture projects, helping to reduce the environmental impact of industrial processes.
  • Biofuels, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO): our tank terminals are storing and handling these renewable alternatives to fossil fuels, empowering a greener future for transportation.
  • Methanol: we have developed our methanol handling and storage facilities, enabling its use as a versatile energy source.

  • Experience in the liquid bulk storage and handling industry, preferably in new energy commodities.
  • Track record of success in B2B commercial and/or business development roles, demonstrating the ability to seize market opportunities.
  • University (of Applied Sciences) degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, business development, and/or customer-facing roles.
  • Proficient in English.

  • Earn a competitive base salary, combined with an annual on-target bonus of up to 35% your annual salary, with a maximum of up to 50% in case of exceptional performance.

  • You report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and get to collaborate with the senior leadership across our group.
