Stolt-Nielsen Inland Tanker Service (SNITS) is looking for a Buyer. Our inland tankers transport liquid chemicals, minerals, oils, and biofuels between the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland. You will be responsible for buying everything we need to keep our fleet in top condition as well as our people on it.

Join our team as the key point of contact for our inland fleet needs. You will manage everything from renewing licenses and coordinating fuel deliveries to purchasing lubricant oil and safety equipment. Your efforts will ensure smooth operations and the safety of our crew, making you an essential part of our success.

We are looking for a professional with the ability to communicate effectively in Dutch, German and English. Someone who is interested to learn and grow within inland shipping.

• Coordinate the purchase, delivery, and handling of fuel, lubricants, and supplies for our fleet and crew.
• Keep fleet licenses and certifications up to date.
• Ensure all personnel have the necessary safety equipment.
• Prepare monthly reports on fleet operational costs.
• Handle and process invoices promptly.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as: Answer queries, track expenses, and manage the budget efficiently.

• 3 years of experience as Buyer or similar function.
• Knowledge of inland shipping operations is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and German both in verbal and written communication is a must. Good level of English is also required.
