An opportunity has arisen for an Senior Execution officer C role at ADM Europoort, The Netherlands.
The vacancy is for the International Containers oils execution team, which is a sub-team of the ADM Europoort oil logistics department, which focuses on logistics flows of vegetable oil and biodiesel products sold by the trading department.

The Senior Execution Officer is responsible for the complete coordination in and outbound oils traded and transported in containers. You will be involved in the execution of the contracts, delivery requirements, transportation documents and handling of quality complaints of oils coming from ADM Europoort Rotterdam from other ADM locations, as well as from international third parties.

You will work closely with the trading department who are responsible for the trading of the oil.

You will be the Subject Matter Expert (S.M.E) of this team, mastering the following responsibilities:

• coordinating and co-handling the logistics flow (inbound/outbound). As well as administrating contract positions for the company products to be shipped in containers;
• dividing the work according to received orders and priorities;
• solving problems/difficulties and mitigating risks, and you will be the first point of contact for your team if they encounter these issues;
• making sure the internal and external communication is smooth and efficient;
• identify shortages, claims, quality issues and provide feedback to the trader or the responsible department to take actions/measures;
• participating as S.M.E. in operational consultations with other departments;
• actively making improvement proposals as S.M.E regarding systems/procedures and working practices;
• implementing and securing new/changed procedures within department;
• ensure as S.M.E. full knowledge of the content and meaning of contracts and their significance for execution handling;
• training and monitoring progress of trainees and new employees;
• handling document presentation to the client/bank, letter of credit, CAD.

The successful candidate has experience and capabilities in the following areas:

• Bachelor degree/HBO analytical thinking level;
• At least three year experience in logistics/execution (preferably in the area of containers, shipping of oils);
• very good communication skills with the colleagues, customers and service providers;
• fluent (spoken and written) in Dutch and English;
• excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS office applications;
• capability to gain in depth understanding of complex administrative and logistical processes in container shipping, logistic procedures, documents, contracts and contract positions; INCOTERMS knowledge is a must;
• team player, coaching and guiding;
• demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail;
• logical thinker, setting priorities, ability to think out-of-the-box;
