An opportunity has arisen for an Execution Officer (Medewerker B) in Europoort, the Netherlands. The Logistics/Execution department focuses on logistics flows of oil products sold by the trading department. The Execution Officer takes care of the complete coordination and settlement of in- and outbound flows (logistics planning, documents / transport / complaints). Our logistics/execution staff are involved in contracts, quality, delivery requirements and transportation documents for both the ADM branch in Europoort-Rotterdam and other (European) ADM locations
The vacancy is for the International Containers oils execution team, which is a sub-team of the ADM Europoort oil logistics department, which focuses on logistics flows of vegetable oil and biodiesel products sold by the trading department.

• Daily updating of execution of contracts position, inputs and outputs, in Excel spreadsheets or internal applications
• Contract knowledge of purchase, sale and freight contracts
• Create, make and present shipping documents to counterparts; checking documents from third party suppliers
• Follow-up on payments, demurrage or other issues and escalation when required
• Checking the order on contract conditions, already settled quantities and stock positions
• Creating the order and documents required for delivery including eventual customs clearance documentation
• Creating nominations to the counterpart/ships agents/surveyor/lab/storage facility
• Maintain contact with the counterparts, service providers
• Maintain contact with the plant/refinery
• Ensure correct settlement with counterparts including CSWs /transport/other 3rd party /services/claims
• Create planning instruction email for loadings at Europoort or other ADM locations
• Handling document presentation to the client/bank, letter of credit, CAD.

The successful candidate has experience and capabilities in the following areas:

• Bachelor degree; HBO analytical thinking in order to grow in role
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and you know how to handle other daily software programs
• (Word, Outlook) and automated systems
• Ability to understand complex administrative and logistical processes, logistic procedures,
• Documents, contracts and contract positions; Incoterms knowledge is preferred
• Team player as well as independent working
• Show your initiative, identify defects and take immediate action
• Accurate and can handle details well
• Logical thinker, setting up priorities or otherwise on time escalate
• Ability to work under pressure, deadlines.
