• This position provides O&P EAI senior business management with strategic, market, economic and technology analyses necessary to understand the polyolefins businesses (HDPE, LDPE, Polypropylene and Specialty) and to improve medium and long term financial performance;
• The incumbent takes responsibility to evaluate, report, and make recommendations related to both commercial and operational decisions concerning business profitability, strategic direction, capital investments, and revenue growth / cost reduction opportunities, taking into account both external and internal benchmarks. Activities also include the development and assessment of strategic business analysis;
• This position coordinates and supports the various stages of the LYB Planning Process for the relevant business unit: Long Range Plan (LRP), Budget and Annual Execution Plans;
• The position requires interaction with various functional groups throughout the organization including Business Finance, C&LCS, Net Zero, Strategic Planning & Transactions, and Manufacturing, and with external consultants;
• Support the digitalization effort to develop and improve a new platform for Market intelligence.

• Meet LRP milestones - review and update strategies for LRP, support Business Finance in preparing 10 year financial plan, contribute to preparation of corporate LRP premises;
• Maintain intelligence on market, supply/demand, trade flows, competitor profiles, segment mapping, cost curves benchmarks;
• Execute first screening of project opportunities as they arise - support Business Directors in pursuing project opportunities related to new investments;
• Support to Business Directors in preparing monthly business review reports, and presentations for Leadership Team and Board meetings;
• Provide training, guidance, and functional expertise as needed, to assist others in the organization to improve business efficiencies;
• Contribute to the dissemination of market intelligence through dashboards or other automated tools.

Strong analytical and judgment skills, with a proven ability to handle complex assignments and attention to detail. You possess extensive knowledge of corporate finance, financial modeling, and analytical tools such as IRR, payback, EVA, and NPV. Interpersonal skills enable effective teamwork and achieving results through collaboration. Excellent communication skills, suitable for interacting with senior managers and executives. Additionally, understand the chemical industry and have advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, databases, graphics, and financial modeling..
