Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Global Service Provider Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Global Service Provider Compliance Manager who can expertly navigate the delicate balance between maintaining high-quality service and managing costs. You will need a keen understanding of regulatory requirements, supplier and contract management, and have a solution orientated mindset.

You will be a part of the Global QHSSE department which was established in Rotterdam and acts as a bridge between WSS, and our logistics suppliers spread all over the world. The team consists of the Global QHSSE Director, 6 Area Managers, and 2 QHSSE Consultants.

• Monitor compliance-related activities and coordinate efforts with the WSS Head of Legal and Compliance.

• Coordinate with WSS Head of ESG to drive global ESG initiatives and reporting related to SPs.

• Maintain an overview of contracts and transport rate agreements

• Conduct spot-checks on prices mentioned in the agreements vs. prices mentioned in the rate generator.

• Follow up on the completeness of self-assessments completed by the SPs.

• Follow up on audit plans and actions, develop and maintain KPIs.

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards.

• Conduct quarterly risk assessments on SPs.

• Provide training and instructions regarding the relevant requirements applicable to SPs.

• Ensure regular updates to discuss performance and development regarding the latest requirements and the implementation of relevant standards

• Bachelor‘s degree in international law and/or international trade.

• English and Dutch language (spoken & written) minimum level B1;

• Experience with supplier and contract management.

• Analytical and results driven mindset

• Work systematically and organized to ensure an overview of all ongoing processes.

• Positive and solution oriented.

• Experience in the maritime industry is an advantage.
