Portbase - Cloud Network Engineer

• You implement and maintain the cloud network infrastructure for our various services and the "security platform"

Portbase plays an independent and crucial role in port logistics. With the increasingly important role that data plays, Portbase is always on the move to unlock these (international) data flows safely and as optimally as possible for its customers and partners.

• Experience and affinity with cloud networking & Security, this does not necessarily have to be through prior education, but can also be gained through work experience.
• Analytical thinking skills to be able to analyze problems with a focus on connectivity, traffic flows and security.
• Interest in the complex (logistics) domains of Portbase.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure. Preferably AWS and services such as VPCs, Transit Gateways
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience in the network edge & perimeter. Preferably Cloudflare and technologies such as WAF, DNS
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, New Relic & OpsGenie is a plus
