Sourcing and Logistics Coordinator

As Sourcing and Logistic Coordinator, you will be coordinating the execution of sourcing and logistics processes related to spare parts and consumables of ships. You will be part of our global team.

Stolt Tankers a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist in transporting bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals.

As Sourcing and Logistic Coordinator, you are responsible for buying and sourcing for our ships.

With a flexible approach, you will ensure our ships are in optimal condition, and they are sailing a safe and smooth shipping route with everything they need arranged. As our SLC you are in close contact with vendors and internal stakeholders (ship crew, superintendent and fleet managers) to optimize the whole process.

• Coordinate and execute the operational sourcing process.
• Coordinate delivery of supplies at the right place and the right time with Logistics service providers.
• Handle exceptions: in case something unpredictable happens, you find a solution.
• Support Category Management: you analyse contracts, monitor delivery versus price and service level agreements.
• Support Vendor Performance: you analyse vendor performance and cost development.

• MBO 4/HBO level of education.
• 0-3 years of experience in sourcing or buying. If you have experience specifically in a buyer position, that is a plus!
• Positive and proactive attitude, combined with a flexible and willing to learn mentality.
• Fluent English is a must, Dutch is not mandatory but a plus.
