Head of Inventory Management

As the Head of Inventory Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a global inventory strategy, setting standards, tools, and improvement initiatives to reduce costs, minimize stock levels, and optimize spare parts availability. You will continuously monitor inventory performance and drive tailored improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will provide functional leadership to a team of inventory experts, empowering terminal warehouse and inventory professionals to succeed. Additionally, you will effectively manage stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of key initiatives.

Communicate the ‘Asset Management Inventory and Warehousing’ strategy and its relationship to the organization"s mission, vision, and values; clarify the actions needed to implement; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve the organization"s business goals.

Stakeholder Engagement | STRATEGY AND PLANNING

Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level, including cross functionally, finding out their needs/ issues/ concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of plans to support.

Manage and report on performance within the department line responsibility for inventory management and warehousing, as well as supply chain, procurement and planning dependencies; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports (and wider functional stakeholders within Terminals) and hold individuals accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.

Inventory Strategy | INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Lead the design, development, and delivery of the global organization"s inventory strategy and respective programs to secure supplies and to minimize cost.

Process Standardisation | INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Reviewing and develop applicable processes, ensuring adoption through ease of use, to ensure all parts are received, stored, and consumed with compliance, with transactions recorded appropriately and with integrity. Ensure appropriate tools in place for robust inventory management decision making, to support control and improvement in desired KPIs.

Aftermarket Supply Chain | INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Lead the design and delivery of upstream supply chain appropriateness and performance expectations, as a strategic part of the organization"s integrated supplier management, end-to-end supply chain and inventory control program.

• A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is preferred; however, relevant experience will also be considered.

• Solid experience in a similar role, particularly within the MRO industry and heavy aftermarket parts supply chain management.

• Fluency in English is required, as it is our corporate language.
