Truck Driver / Skipper

As a Truck Driver/Skipper, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and support of our team of professional divers. You will ensure that all diving operations run smoothly and meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Your work activities include:

• Supporting the dive team, by driving the truck, navigating the work boat and/or launching the work boat using a truck crane;
• The daily coordination of a diving team, where the team will perform work on marine vessels (such as polishing propellers or cleaning marine cabinets);
• Ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance during operations.

For the position for Truck Driver/Shipper we ask the following. Now do you only have part of the certificates and are willing to get the rest? Then feel free to apply as well, because we are willing to train people in the things they don’t have yet.

• Driving license C + code 95.
• Good command of the English language (C2).
• Availability to work weekends (against 150% time off in the following week);
• Preferably a small boat license 1 (or willing to obtain one);
• Preferably a VCA certificate (or willing to obtain it);
• Preferably a crane certificate (or willing to obtain it);
• Preferably relevant diving certification (or willingness to obtain it):
  • Also a B2 certificate to dive up to 30 meters deep with surface-assisted equipment;
  • A valid medical diving examination performed by a certified physician B;
  • A DMB-B2 certificate (dive medical supervisor B2);
  • A dive supervisor B2 certificate;
