We are looking for a DCS Engineer who will elevate our automation to the next level. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Process Information (PI) systems.

Here’s what your role will look like:

• Maintaining, managing, and updating DCS and PI systems (e.g., Yokogawa DCS and OSIsoft PI).

• Programming and adapting software based on specifications.

• Conducting tests (FAT, SAT) and commissioning new systems.

  Drafting software specifications and archiving changes.

• Initiating Capex proposals and supporting projects (MOCs).

• Maintaining contact with suppliers and overseeing consultants.

• Collaborating closely with Process Engineers, IT, and other departments.

You’ll work in a dynamic environment where innovation and safety are top priorities. You will report to the Production Day Supervisor.

• A completed Bachelor (HBO) or Master (WO) degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or Chemical Technology.

• At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer in industrial automation.

• Experience with Yokogawa DCS and OSIsoft PI is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in English and preferably Dutch (spoken & written).

• Independence, entrepreneurial spirit, and a proactive attitude.
