Process operator

Do you want to oversee the operations of our cleaning ships remotely from our control room in Delft? Do you have at least a completed Vapro B, Operator B, or a similar MBO 3 qualification? And are you willing to work in a 5-shift schedule? Then read on!

With multiple ships, we perform robotic cleaning of the hulls of seagoing vessels in all Dutch and Belgian ports. These cleaning operations are monitored remotely from our control room in Delft. As a Process Operator, you are responsible for overseeing the production process of these cleaning ships, both operationally and technically. You monitor the quality of the cleaning operation, including safety on board. The ROV technicians on board can contact you for technical and operational questions. If a problem cannot be solved immediately, you will check the installation remotely and create service tickets for maintenance. Additionally, you will prepare reports, maintain the schedule, and communicate with customers about progress, project preparation, and support. Finally, you will actively contribute to improving our processes and systems.

As a Process Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the operations of our cleaning ships remotely from the control room, both technically and operationally.
• Monitoring internal standards in terms of quality and safety, as well as guiding onboard employees in these areas.
• Answering questions from internal staff and external parties (such as customers) about operations, technology, and progress.
• Monitoring the technical condition of our installations. If necessary, creating service tickets for maintenance.
• Preparing reports and maintaining the schedule.

For the role of Process Operator, we ask for the following:

• A completed Vapro B, Operator B, or a similar MBO 3 qualification.
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift schedule (two morning shifts, two afternoon shifts, and two night shifts, followed by four days off).
• Knowledge of computer systems and a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch.
