Plant Controller AS&O

We are seeking an exceptional Plant Controller to support our esteemed facilities in Germany and The Netherlands. Reporting to the EMEA Regional BU Controller, this role will collaborate with the Controlling and Finance functions, as well as Plant Management, to provide indispensable support for processes and procedures in a production environment. You will ensure robust controls are in place and become the trusted advisor for stakeholders on accounting and controlling matters, including plant controls and regulatory issues.

• Oversee plant unit operations and their financial impact.
• Participate in inventory measurements, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with other financial teams to ensure reliable cost information.
• Manage stock adjustments, including spare parts and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure accurate production reports by tracking KPIs.
• Monitor and track Capital Investments for timely capitalization.
• Ensure plant cost accuracy and explain discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with SOX and local regulations.
• Review and improve processes and procedures.

• Bachelor"s degree in accounting and finance, or a related field.
• (Extensive) 5 years’ experience in plant accounting/controlling or a similar role within the food industry (Oilseed: crushing, refining, bottling, biodiesel).
• A strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis is obligatory.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE) and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and diligence.
• Fluency in English is a must, German or Dutch are a plus.
• Ability to interact effectively with the operations department.
