Continuous Improvement Business Analyst

We are looking for a Continuous improvement (junior) Business Analyst to support all businesses. You will report directly into the VP Continues Improvement. As CI is considered a global priority within Stolt-Nielsen you will act as key driver. The role requires a confident, efficient and self-motivated individual, who is a capable communicator with the ability to influence people and projects with analysis.

Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is a leader in the storage and transportation of bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We also focus on opportunities in aquaculture & LNG.

The Business Analyst provides support to the CI Experts and works closely with them to determine and deliver expert business analysis activities and deliverables on various assigned projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to the CI Experts in various project activities.
• Gather and interpret (financial and non-financial) information/ data to participate in production of business cases.
• Produce high quality papers and PowerPoint presentations.
• Work with project team to ensure data presented is valid.
• Filter and infer relevant information from large data sets.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops for the programs.
• Support solving by identifying current conditions, goal setting, doing root cause analysis and identifying counter measures, creating business cases, baselining and supporting the implementation and measurement of the impact.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher - Technical (Engineering preferred).
• 1-5 years of working experience.
• Proven business analysis experience.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Experience in data modelling.
• Shipping and/or operational knowledge/experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, for internal and external delivery.
• Excellent MS Office suite skills, advanced excel skills is required.
• Power BI skills (nice to have).
